Momo’s second visit.

Student, Momo from Zheng Zhou, came for a second visit this weekend. Our weather was still quite cold and a fair amount of snow remains on the ground making for unsure footing while out walking. We did manage to visit the barn. Meeting a horse was a first experience for Momo.

I enjoy when Momo comes to visit because she is patient with my picture taking. I think the fact that she is an art student makes her more willing to allow a photographer to explore the art of picture taking.

Here are a few other shots we took on a short walk around the neighborhood.

....and that is enough! It's cold out here.

As you can see, Momo is highly photogenic. I thank her for graciously allowing me to take her picture.

All photographs were taken with the Pentax K30 and 18 – 135 mm lens.

After our walk we had dinner and then a game of scrabble. For her first time playing the game, Momo did well and made a couple of high scoring plays.

The word juice doesn't look to be a big scoring word, but when playing the letter "J" - a value of 8 points and placing it on a triple word score, it adds up to 30 points! Nice play.

Momo is stunning! What a beautiful young lady.

    1. Yes, I agree. Momo is a lovely young woman.
Related, I’ve been invited to attend her graduation ceremony from Pratt Institute. I was really humbled at the invitation. Momo started lessons with me when she was 17 and she is now 23 and ready to go out into the big world of business and making a living. She is a talented artist and I am sure she will do well in her field.
The event is to be held in May at Radio City Music Hall. I haven’t been there since I was a boy.
