Today, while checking the progress of various garden happenings, I took a few pictures to capture some of the progress.
The pruning done in January (explained in this article here) was effective and the tree is healthy and full of blossoms.
Some of the grafts (grafting details found in this article) I did appear to be taking hold. Time will tell if they remain healthy and continue to grow strong.
The asparagus crowns are doing well. Soil preparation and amending was key. I wrote about planning for asparagus and preparing the bed in this article.
Seed asparagus takes a long time and this heirloom variety is going slowly.
I hope the deer don’t eat my wild strawberry.
