The Crayon Factory

It is probably safe to say that every American child has used crayons at some point in there early years.

A crayon masterpiece!

A crayon masterpiece!

Last month I had a chance to visit the Crayon factory in the river town of Easton, PA. It is a short drive from where I live and the place offers 4 floors of fun activities for kids of all ages.

History of the crayon here.

Crayons seem to be such an ingrained part of Americana, but to my surprise crayons were not invented by the Crayola Company.

If you want to visit and avoid large crowds of screaming children and long lines it is probably best to visit mid-week and not during the summer vacation season.
